National Optimist Team: 2026 Distinctions and New Lineup
Following the conclusion of the Grand Final national qualification in Voula, Greece has announced the 12 top sailors forming the new National Optimist Team, ready to represent the country on the global and European stage.

After a demanding series of 11 races, where 124 athletes from 33 different clubs gave their absolute best, the new National Optimist Team has been finalized. The fierce competitiveness of these young sailors—which was watched by many fans via the federation’s official live stream—reaffirms the high level of sailing talent in Greece.
